Gamespot reports that the Australian OFLC department has finally rated World of Warcraft and its expansions with an M-rating for “Fantasy Violence”.  The Australian entity deemed World of Warcraft meets the definition of a computer game provided in the Classification Act, regardless of its online-only description. It took them 5 years to figure out how to handle and classify MMORPGs which do not have a local or single-player component (it seems).  Ever since, World of Warcraft and other MMOs had remained unrated until now. Congrats to the folks who followed up with the Australian Classification Board and the OFLC..
