Cesar (Blizzplanet-ES) informed me io9 broke the news that Legendary Entertainment director Duncan Jones has revealed a teaser trailer of the Warcraft Film. No one has been able to find a video as it took everyone by surprise.

Duncan Jones mentioned this is a “mood piece” of live action footage, and confirms the shooting of the film will begin early 2014. Some people describe the teaser “mood piece” as gritty and similar to “300”. On another note, Duncan Jones and Legendary invite fans to send questions about the Warcraft film at hashtag: #AskWarcraft

I will be diligently searching for the teaser trailer.

io9: “Holy crap, there was a big surprise at the Legendary/Warner Bros. panel just now. We saw the-first ever teaser for the World of Warcraft movie, in which a mighty armored warrior goes head-to-head with a huge green orc.” …

“And director Duncan Jones came out and told the crowd that he always wanted to make movies where “you delve into fantasy” — and this project is a dream come true, because he gets to create a whole world. And he announced that he starts filming in early 2014.” — source

On Thursday, July 18th – a fan asked Chris Metzen if Warcraft film info would be coming out on BlizzCon. Chris slowly looked at his watch hinting something was about to happen within a short time.

On Saturday, July 20th — Legendary Entertainment debuted a Warcraft film “mood piece” teaser of a human versus an orc. After the “mood piece”, Duncan Jones appeared on-stage and screams in a geeky-fashion revealing that the shooting of the Warcraft film is confirmed to be early 2014. Video below:
