starcraft-ii-petacraft-heart-for-the-swarmPeople for the Ethical Treatment of Animals — better known as PETA, posted an article encouraging StarCraft II players to care for zerglings. I am sure many of you support PETA issues, while others might think PETA got “issues” (as in the mental ones).

I don’t think PETA is bothered much by digital pixels getting killed. It’s probably their way to catch gamers’ attention to introduce their care for animals propaganda. I don’t know if this PetaCraft: Heart for the Swarm propaganda worked for you, but you gotta admit it’s funny and cute. — source

Thanks, Mike_

PETA—or, as we are renaming ourselves in honor of the expansion pack’s launch, “Terrans for the Ethical Treatment of Zerglings”—will attend tonight’s launch event in Irvine, California, and distribute copies of our new “Zerglings Have Feelings, Too” leaflets as a reminder that gamers and nongamers alike should have compassion for all beings—even those who are very different from us.

Reminds me of the recent CarbotAnimations video with the cute zerglings. Worth a watch. (source)
