LOS ANGELES, CA – November 17, 2011 – Performance Designed Products LLC (“PDP”), a worldwide leader in the videogame accessory market, today announced a stylish line of cases for the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S based on Blizzard Entertainment’s popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft®. The first cases in the line, featuring Horde and Alliance faction logos, are available for the suggested retail price of $29.99 and can be found on PDP.com as well as at GameStop locations in the United States and Europe. They will soon also be available at various retailers in Asia. Additional designs based on Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo® and StarCraft® game universes are coming in the near future.

“We’re excited to offer World of Warcraft players a new way to show their enthusiasm for the game wherever they go,” said Bill Otte, SVP of Sales and Marketing for PDP. “Players can proudly display our new line of Horde- and Alliance-themed iPhone cases as a badge of honor — or as a challenge to their rival faction.”

“One of the things players really enjoy in World of Warcraft is customizing their characters, and these Horde and Alliance iPhone cases offer them another way to bring some of that customization to the real world,” said Paul Sams, chief operating officer of Blizzard Entertainment. “PDP has a lot of experience creating high-quality accessories, and we’re pleased to be working with them on this new Blizzard line.”

PDP’s exclusive Diablo III cases were recently made available directly to Blizzard gamers at BlizzCon® 2011 in Anaheim, CA. PDP also created 250 limited-edition Blizzard Entertainment iPhone cases and gave them away as part of a promotion to attendees of the sold-out show.

Looking ahead, PDP Mobile will expand its Blizzard-themed mobile accessories line to include cases for Android charging docks and cases for select Android handsets.
