A few days ago, the Toy Industry Association confirmed my press badge to attend the upcoming 2012 Toy Fair New York. The event will be celebrated at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan, New York City.

- Got confirmation from one of the two companies attending the event. Two of the products: RISK: StarCraft™, and MONOPOLY: World of Warcraft™. The USAopoly Director of Marketing representative Jeanette Best confirmed these two products will be showcased at the Toy Fair New York. Note: USAopoly creates many types of board games. They have developed the following MONOPOLY Collector’s Editions: Star Trek: Klingon, Futurama, The Three Stooges, Elvis, Coca-Cola, The Muppets, Las Vegas, The Beatles, Seinfeld, Family Guy, Nintendo, Hello Kitty, Transformers, etc. USAopoly has also developed the RISK: Metal Gear Solid and the RISK: Halo Wars.

I sent about four emails a few minutes ago, after checking the 2012 Toy Fair exhibitor list, to find out if they are showcasing any Blizzard Entertainment licensed products. This post will be updated whenever I get their individual replies. In the meantime, those who plan to attend the Toy Fair New York event should add these to the list:

No Diablo stuff? =(
I haven’t heard about any Diablo III licensed products. If there’s any, that’s a very well protected secret. The only product I know of is the novel Diablo: The Order by Nate Kenyon.
