Beta Patch today in an hour approximately—hopefully the character renaming and beta installer get a fix. Not yet confirmed.
Nethaera: All beta realms will be taken down at 2:45 PM PST for maintenance and a patch. We expect the downtime to be approximately 5 hours.

We also anticipate that this will fix the Character copy issue. We very much want to have this resolved as much as everyone else and have been working on it.
