If you didn’t follow my suggestion to click the Blizzard Downloader a few days ago, you will find yourself downloading 269MB on patch day. Blizzard has finally released the first major content patch since Burning Crusade expansion launch.  The content patch contains the Black Temple now open to all those hardcore adventurers who have owned Tempest Keep and Serpentshrine.

Solo Players will now be able to start their special Zangarmarsh Flying Mount. Go to the Shattrath City flightmaster to talk to the new NPC next to him to start the questline.  Then fly to the north side of Skettis in Terokkar Forest.  Atop the high mountain on the north you will find a new Shattrath basecamp with plenty of quests to farm this special flying mount.

Those players obssessed with acquiring a Netherdrake mount, you can talk to Mordenai at the southern edge of Netherwing Fields in Shadowmoon Valley to start the questline.  If you are already neutral with the Netherwing, this may be sore, but you require 300 riding skill (5,000g) to get access to further quests from Mordenai.
