The splash page theme on day 5 is the Undead Box artwork of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos (2002). This game came with four different box artworks: Human, Orc, Female Night Elf and Undead Lich.
The text below is the narration from the Warcraft III Cinematic intro:
“Like fools, we clung to the old hatreds and fought as we had for generations.
Until the day the sky rained fire and a new enemy came upon us.”
The only splash page remaining is tomorrow Friday which corresponds to World of Warcraft (2004). After that, the Game Announcement will be unveiled on Saturday at 12:00 AM PDT or 3:00 AM (EST/GMT -5).
Something just happened different than previous days … a copy of the splash page can now be seen at Worldofwarcraft.com and Battle.net—this didn’t happen before. Is it Warcraft IV?
The Starcraft and Diablo Sites at Blizzard.com do not have a splash page. Either someone at Blizzard is playing with people’s minds or they are throwing signals. Conspiracy theories are fun sometimes. But as the countdown comes closer this is really becoming stressful.
