We have a review of the next patch’s features seen so far in the Public Test Servers, and a few bugs noticed. Read more below . . .
The World of Warcraft public test realms are now live. These test realms allows Blizzard to test new content and features before they are patched to the public realms. They also allow players to get a sneak peek at the content going into the game next patch! One of the features in this patch is the highly anticipated Honor System. The test realms are open to anyone who has a valid World of Warcraft account, so if you want to be one of the first players to try the Honor System, click here to copy one of your characters over to the test realm. Keep in mind remember that experience earned, items obtained, or any changes to your test character will in no way affect your original character on our retail realms, as your test realm character is just a copy of the original. Also, the experience, items, and gold your character gains on the test realm will not be transferred to your character on the retail realms.
Read the test-realm patch notes.

Last night, Draco—from WC3Campaigns—let us know that the server was undergoing Major Server updates. PHP.net announced the release of PHP 5.0.4 and 4.3.11. These are maintenance releases that in addition to non-critical bug fixes address several security issues. All Users of PHP are strongly encouraged to upgrade to one of these releases as soon as possible. It was routine maintenance, but took few more days than expected. All websites hosted by the servers, including IRC server were down, not just Blizzplanet. Our apologies for the downtime. We will resume our daily news. Thanks.

We have added the stories from the Tauren Lore found in-game at the hanging-tablets of the Elders Rise in Thunderbluff. You may now read the origin of Cenarius, the Tauren and Elune herself. The story sounds too mythological, but gives a nice twist as to how the Elves changed their believes to worship Elune. A belief that seems shared with the Tauren’s believes of the Earthmother. Read the full story at our Wow Lore section or directly to the following page

Blizzard will ship additional 250,000 copies of World of Warcraft through Europe stores on April 15th. The 250,000 new units join the over 620,000 already sold, contributing to a total of nearly 900,000 copies of the PC MMO circulating throughout Europe.
The new copies will contain 10-day Guest Passes, which allow players to lend the game to a friend, who can use the pass to try it for a limited amount of time. The Guest pass will stop working after the 10th day. To continue playing, the Guest must buy the game. Upon login, his previous guest character will now resume playing.
