A particular non-African american Sitcom, used the phrase very often: The Nanny (TV Sitcom - 1993)—starred by Fran Drescher. Martin Lawrence show (1992) exploited the phrase often too.

A spunky red-headed girl named Kestrel, was the main character. One of her best friends, Angela—a bisexual—fell in love with Kestrel.

The Claw part could mean catfight? O_o

Some of these associations (Shattrath as Deep Space 9, Netherstorm as Tattooine, the Dreghood as some race from Dr. Who, and arakkoa as a Dune reference, to name a few) seem like a stretch.

Aeris Landing as an ASoIAF reference, however, makes more sense than the FFVII reference that I’ve heard people accuse it of being.
