Warcraft 3 Patch 1.24d live! Bye Crash Hack

Blizzard Entertainment has updated Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and Warcraft III: Frozen Throne with patch 1.24d which is now available for download by login into Battle.net. This patch addresses a very annoying exploit that allows players to cause a system crash on their victims.

While the patch is known as patch 1.24d the game will display onscreen the following build number: 1.24.3.6384

- Fixed a client crash related to queuing too many invalid build commands
(“crash hack”).

  • The Warcraft III patch v1.24d has been released with several game fixes and updates.

  • For the easiest patching process it is recommended that you connect to Battle.net. This can be done by starting the game and clicking on the Battle.net button.
