Everyone knows gaming stores give fake release dates or pre-order dates or estimates for games.  However, this is the first time I ever see this happening.  Does Best Buy and Gamespot know something we don’t?  Gamespot’s partner page for Best Buy is listing Starcraft: Ghost to be released on December 30, 2010.

Fans have speculated the game was canned, when in reality the Press Release states the game was “postponed” to evaluate Next-Gen Consoles.  That could be interpreted as “Ghost is coming to Next Gen Consoles after we learn more of its capabilities”.  After all, the press release was announced ten days after Microsoft XNA preview build was released.
