Rumor - AOL’s Wow Social Network?

C|NET news contributor wrote up an article titled Rumor: AOL to turn Wow.com into ‘World of Warcraft’ social network. Doing a check up on wow.com I confirmed American Online/Compuserve does own the domain name. If AOL doesn’t use the domain name for a Wow Social Network, it would be a total waste of opportunity.

However, I doubt anyone would want to play Wow on AOL’s 56k service …
