I make a hobby of collecting Blizzard stuff, if you were to see my computer desk you would know that I am a huge Blizzard nerd to the point that a normal person might believe I am sick. So when I saw the new Pandaren action figure go on sale on the Blizzard store a few weeks ago I had to absolutely lay out the cash to buy one, figuring it would be a special collector’s item. Well, this weekend I received the box in the mail and decided I would take a video of me opening the box for you all here on the site. Needless to say, I was a little surprised at what came next, but instead of ruining it, check out the video first and I’ll add my additional thoughts afterward.

Now, I’ll admit, I didn’t do my research ahead of time before purchasing this. No where on the Blizzard store does this say it’s a DC Unlimited action figure, I had assumed it was some special Blizzard thing they had put together. Now, that’s not really a bad thing, I love the DC Unlimited figures, they are very nice and I own quite a few of them. What had surprised me was the fact that this one cost $50 where as the other deluxe action figures I’ve bought were about half that price.
Now with that said, this action figure is way more detailed then the others I own and have seen, so that might be why there is such a price difference. All in all, I am quite happy with the purchase. If you’re looking for a great gift for someone you know that is really into World of Warcraft, this might be the gift you are looking for. Either way, I have something new to put on my desk (if I can find room with all the other collectibles).
