Figure Prints was launched in 2007 with an interesting concept, taking your WoW character and using a 3d printer to create a little replica statue so you can show it off to your friends at home. I ended up buying one last year, and while I don’t think the quality itself really constitutes spending the $150 to have one made, I do think it is a really neat little item for any WoW collector like myself.
For the last few months I’ve been trying to get another one made of my shaman, but the problem has been in order to get one, you had to enter a raffle. If you won the raffle then you had the opportunity to purchase your Figure Print. It took me about 6 months of entering to get my first one, I never did manage to win again to get my 2nd one.
However, there is no more raffle on Figure Prints. You can now go to their site, load up the character model creator, and make your purchase then and there. I’d expect a good 4-8 weeks for delivery and it’s going to cost you $150 with the shipping.
