Christie Golden shared some BlizzCon 2007 photos for viewing pleasure of those who weren’t able to go. Blizzard fans love her work on Lord of the Clans and Wow: Rise of the Horde, as well as the new Starcraft: The Dark Templar Trilogy.  Christie is soon writing a World of Warcraft trilogy novel as revealed in our recent interview.  Make sure to read all our Christie Golden interviews if you have missed them.

Canon lore from her novels incorporated into World of Warcraft:  the Talbuk in Nagrand was her creation.  Caverns of Time: Durnholde with Tabetha and Thrall.  The early horde quest where you retrieve a necklace from Perenolde’s wife, that necklace was a gift given to Thrall by Tabetha. Tabetha would visit a secret meeting place after instructing Thrall to place the necklace on a small tree each time he needed her assistance. They would then meet up at a cave. Velen and the Ata’mal crystals spread throughout Outland such as the Spirit’s Song crystal held by Culuthas at the Ruins of Farahlon in Netherstorm , and the Heart of Fury held by Shadowlord Deathwail at the Ata’mal Terrace in the Black Temple , K’ure and Oshu’gun, and more. Catch her novels and give them a read to find other in-game references associated to her novels.
