Blizzard Entertainment has announced several World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Midnight Launch Parties to take place around the world (USA, Canada, Europe, Asia) late night December 6th.

Blizzard developers will be attending these worldwide midnight launch parties. Check the list below to plan your schedule.

Most participating stores will have Costume contests and special events outdoors to giveaway prizes. Partners are JINX, NVIDIA, SteelSeries, Creative, and Cryptozoic.

Join us on the evening of December 6 to celebrate the release of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm and be among the first to purchase and play the new expansion! Developers from the World of Warcraft team will be on-site to sign copies and meet players, and attendees will have a chance to participate in organized activities and win great prizes. Costume Contest: All European launch events will feature a costume contest showcasing players’ favourite attire from the game with great prizes for the winners. All selected participants will also be given priority to enter their local event, so start gearing up! Check back here for more details soon.
