Maybe I’ve missed some information in the past year that lead to this, but many people I know still believe that the new Blizzard MMO was more than likely going to be based on the Starcraft universe. However, in a post Zaryhm made in response to a nitwit with some wild and stupid remarks and rumors it appears that the new MMO will be a completely all new franchise. This might be old news to some since Zaryhm says this has been stated by Blizzard in the past, but it’s certainly new news to me and I’m sure it might be for a few others.
Heck, after just talking to MedievalDragon about this he doesn’t recall Blizzard ever stating the new MMO would be an all new franchise either. So this is definitely a very interesting quote by Zaryhm:
