Aaron Rosenberg, popular Star Trek book author and writer of STARCRAFT: QUEEN OF BLADES, confirms the book is on sale.

In our recent interview, he had commented there were discussions between Simon & Schuster, Blizzard Entertainment and Aaron Rosenberg for “possible” new Starcraft and Warcraft pocketbooks.  Nothing is concrete, but it is good enough to keep our sight on new lore.

1. Is Starcraft: Queen of Blades officially on sale?

Aaron: Yes, it is definitely out—I’ve had confirmed sightings in Palo Alto and Peoria, among others. Oh, and my first Warhammer book, Day of the Daemon, is out as well smile

2. In our recent interview we discussed a possibility of your participation in future Blizzard pocketbooks, not yet confirmed at that time.  Did you get anything concrete yet about writing Starcraft, Diablo or Warcraft books?

Aaron: Hmm. I’d say there’s a VERY good chance that I will be writing another StarCraft book. It is not concrete yet, however—hopefully very soon.  I’ve discussed the possibility of doing some WarCraft books as
well. There’s interest on both sides (theirs and mine) so hopefully that will happen as well.

3. Christie Golden told me recently she is writing a Starcraft Trilogy and a World of Warcraft book, however she can’t talk about it yet. She agreed to an interview with us by November. You can read here what Metzen said the World of Warcraft: Rise of the Horde book is about.

Aaron: That’s very cool.

4. So, it looks like Blizzard wants to pump out books of different timeframes.

Aaron: I think so.

That’s all Aaron Rosenberg told me.  We will keep you up-to-date when those pocketbook deals are more official, as well as their title name.
